Why would you want to ruin a good QB?

We just lost a major recruiting battle to Mizzou. Let that sink in for a while.

No Gus defender here, but Mizzou runs a Big 12 offense that will have a top five QB drafted. If I’m a one and done I’m going to where I can sling it. Has nothing to do with quality of program

First off he was fairly average (put up very similar passing numbers as Stidham this year at Clemson) with elite talent and coaching.

Second, good luck to him. But Missouri just went 8-4 with an NFL QB. They aren’t beating Georgia without 4 and 5 star talent across the rest of the team. Don’t know if Gus could have used him to get the offense clicking for him, but I’m not that worried about it.

Bryant was better than what we have.

We should not minimize that. But I think he might have only lifted the floor and not done much to raise the ceiling against the real tough games next year.

I’m glad he’s not coming. Redshirt Bo Nix next year and let’s ride with MW at the helm and get Gus fired and then we’ll probably have 2 possibly 3 years of Nix with hopefully a HC who can develop quarterbacks.

Maybe that's what the last minute in home was about?

I hope somehow he makes us all eat our words by pulling an amazing turnaround.

But nothing I have seen this year leads me to see that happening.

I hate it, because I wanted him to be a success. But the guy who was an aggressive play caller is gone.

Bryant was not the answer IMO, but this looks horrible for us with Gus in home today begging and losing to suck arse Mizzou.
