Please explain how recruit rankings matter when we have exactly one player from one class left as well.

We dont have the receivers to run a Freeze offense.
Theirs were doing toe drags on 4th down.
Our mystical recruiting rankings were trumped by in game talent.
We didnt lose by turnovers. They just whooped us and took our manhood away but our roster wasnt strong to begin with.

People are upset because we SHOULD have better talent and be better coached and be better developed.

Maybe the overall talent is greater here than NMSU, but factoring in roster construction/experience/scheme, it’s a shitshow. We are still weak in the positions where it really matters… interior DL, OL as a whole, LB, and this WR core is sunbelt level.
we just have to play the hand we’re dealt right now… get the roster turned over and see where things land it year 2 and 3.
I’d be lying if I said Saturday wasn’t a huge red flag for freeze and co…. But he can still get us to where we want to be.

We're working with a very thin team from potatoe in year 1. If this were year 3 then yeah I'd be really upset. I can't be knowing the shite we've sifted through for the past 4 years.
