They played Auburn last year too and gave up 38 points to Hew and the boys. Their DL is light years better than last year.

Sadly, it's looking this way. Remaining wins over Arkansas and Samford are the only games that look for certain but Golesh is also 0-3 against Arkansas coach Silverfield, so who knows. I thought since Tulsa beat Oklahoma State 24-10, then Tulsa might beat Arkansas saturday but Arky crushed them. God help us if we lose to Arkansas somehow because that's been the one constant SEC team we've been able to beat the last several years.

That was nearly all Diego Pavia last year though. He finished 2nd in the Heisman voting for a reason. This year's Vanderbilt team is way worse than last years.
As far as us playing Florida closer than Ole Miss did, that don't mean much because we got Florida in Jordan Hare and Ole Miss went to The Swamp. Ole Miss also didn't have their star RB, Kewan Lacy for the Florida game. So since Florida only beat us by 5 and they beat Ole Miss by 24, who would you pick to win between us and Ole Miss? I would bet money we lose by 10+ easily when we go to Oxford. Chambliss will eat our secondary up all game.

Don’t disagree, but Florida being better than advertised certainly makes me feel better about that loss regardless. I think they will be in the CFP.
