Draft analyst Lance Zierlein has Montravius Adams as his #3 interior DL:

quote:

3. Montravius Adams, Auburn

The Auburn coaching staff, including defensive line coach Rodney Garner, has been very vocal about its desire to see Adams play harder on every snap and in every practice. It's also worth noting that Garner sees Adams starting to "turn the corner." What I see is a player with great pad level off the snap who fights back against double teams and who is athletic enough to work himself back into plays where it looks like he is blocked. He shows flashes of the hands needed to be a substantially better pass rusher, but his technique needs more work and consistency. With Angelo Blackson and Gabe Wright gone, Adams should be ready to shine.

Chase Goodbread (College Football 24/7 writer) has Shon Coleman as #5 on his list of players with the best intangibles:

CFB 24/7's "15 for '15" series continues with a look at 15 returning players who bring outstanding intangible qualities to their respective teams. Each brings a high level of leadership and dedication to the game, and is well-respected by teammates and coaches alike. They're not all household names, but they're the type of players coaching staffs can never have enough of.

5. Shon Coleman, OL, Auburn

The only returning player from CFB 24/7's 2014 collection of players with the best intangibles, Coleman is back with a full year of starting experience under his belt at left tackle. His inspirational story as a survivor of leukemia (he was diagnosed in 2010 and went through more than two years of chemotherapy), followed by his battle back to the AU roster and, eventually, a starting role, is an example to everyone on the team.

Still really proud to have Coleman in the position he's in.

But those holds...

Nick could make it look like he had opposing magnetic properties from pass rushers.

Just as they dove toward him, he would go the opposite direction. It didn't matter where his momentum was headed.

This means he would be attracted to them....

Here's a few more by Lance Zierlein.

Others to watch
Jeremy Johnson, Auburn: The former backup to Nick Marshall, Johnson looked good in his season-opening start against Arkansas and showed off an arm to challenge defenses with throws that Marshall couldn't make. Gus Malzahn's offense might be more pass-heavy than we've seen it with Johnson taking snaps.

2. D'haquille "Duke" Williams, Auburn

It's hard to find a tougher, more physical receiver in college football than Williams. Williams is a big, thick target who plays with elite focus and determination when working the middle of the field and he maxes out his catch radius with well-timed ball-plucking skills. He should see even more work this season with pocket-passing specialist Jeremy Johnson taking over as the starter. Williams shows some hip tightness and stiffness into his breaks, which are areas he needs to improve upon. It's worth noting that Williams was suspended for his bowl game last season.

10. Avery Young, Auburn

Young comes from NFL bloodlines. His older brother, Willie Young, is a starting defensive end with the Bears, and Panthers long-time stalwart, Thomas Davis, is his cousin. Young did an admirable job at right tackle last season, but he is best-suited inside at guard, which is where he is expected to start this season. Young has a big bubble and is a decent heads-up blocker with the ability to be effective as a short-puller. Young's biggest issues are his lack of bend and his limited change-of-direction ability. His background at tackle should help strengthen his interior pass protection.

quote:

5. Jonathan Jones, Auburn

Jones has all the talent and athleticism you would want from a cornerback, but his ability to stay healthy is a big concern for NFL evaluators. Jones' body type looks more like a slot receiver's than a cornerback's, but he makes up for that with smoothness in his transitions and an uncanny ability to make plays on the ball at the catch point. Jones was targeted 50 times last season and ended up breaking up 10 passes while intercepting six. Jones shadowed Chris Conley throughout Auburn's matchup with Georgia and showed he could run stride for stride with the speedster. Auburn has a dangerous defensive front, which will make Jones that much more dominant in 2015 -- if he's healthy.

Probably not a bad prediction for his future in the NFL.

But one thing is for sure... he's played both positions with some success in the SEC and NFL teams LOVE versatility on their OLs.

Oh? I must not have read it close enough.

Unless Big Braden is gonna kick out, I highly doubt it.
