3 CB’s in today for Terrence Lewis, including Miami and Florida insiders
A close on the defense with:
5* LB Terrence Lewis
4* LB Trevin Wallace
4* DE George Wilson
Plus 3* CB Balfour and unranked (probably best offer sheet of the bunch, though) Byron Young would be phenomenal considering where things stood just a few weeks ago.

I almost included him but I have to see it to believe it

Like clockwork, everyone is saying they passed on Lewis because he beat his girlfriend. They rustled.

The one on 247 is that he punched his teacher. So they’re definitely both true

Thats what I talked about before.. Yet he's going to enroll early. Obviously it doesn't mean anything, but people who punch teachers or gf's don't usually have the grades to enroll early. Who knows though.. I trust TWill on this.

I really didn’t know anything about this guy before a few weeks ago so who knows but he clearly has the grades for Auburn and TWill’s room is the one I’d want any struggling kid to be in, I think. Not just because of TWill but because of the guys at that position are some of the best kids on the team.
He’ll be fine

Jeffery Lee and Farrell article pretty much reiterated what Jones said about us backing off recruiting other RBs because we had Goodwin. Says we were shocked that he decommitted. However, it’s not likely he signs early. We still may be able to reel him in thanks to long standing relationships that we hold with him.
I’m pretty skeptical. I just hope we don’t have to resort to stealing RBs with Tulane talent.

For those wondering.. All commits still seem to be locked in. The commits still think there's a good chance Goodwin signs with us too.

We have two scrub OLmen in this class. IDK WTF it will take for Malzahn to recruit to a position we are struggling at. It is insane how he will take CBs and WRs and completely ignore OL.

There is no doubt we are weak on O and D line.
- OLine recruiting has been a dumpster fire
- DLine - we missed on a couple D-Line guys the past couple yes that we needed to replace DBrown and it is biting us this yr.
Clemson, UGA and of course AL focus on the line and it has really hurt our ability to compete at a top 5 level. .

I think Garner was banking on Burks and Butler being more ready than they we're.. 2 JUCO DTs and neither did much of anything. I think there's a legit shot for Hunter to start day 1 and for Robinson to at least be in the rotation.
OL probably is what it is right now.. They might be working on some HS guys, but we know they are going to go after OL hard in the transfer market so I wouldn't expect to see too many more HS OL names pop up this year.

Add to it we need thumpers at LB.
We are just too light playing these guys in the middle. Mcclain was great with his quickness, but he and Pappoe got pushed around and blocked out too many times.
We had no real backup to Britt.
The problem with Jucos is that you expect instant playing time or at least solid backup but we got glimpes of Butler and Burks but nothing that really held up on the DL.

And for a baseline, Gus has been here for a decade.
He is Mark Richt. His recruiting rankings are inflated by taking WRs, etc but has no clue on how to build a roster.

quote:I think Steiner can be that guy.. He was just a Freshman this year though. OC Brothers is another who comes to mind too. Out of the guys we're recruiting I think Lewis is an OLB but Wallace might be able to put on a little weight and play in the middle.
