Strike plate is critical to not frick up your boards.

Is it vinyl or the composite boards? If vinyl is recommended getting a set of snips and not using a saw.

Its Novaclic. Its pretty thick. Not sure you could snip it. Instructions say to score and snap it off. I will use my saw for the small cuts. I hope.

Go to your local ranch and feed store and buy some Tempo

Spray outside and our house monthly and you will rarely see bugs.

Friend who owns a pest control business brought me a bee suit.

I put it on and poured about 2 gallons of 87 octane down the hole. Im hoping
that will do it. They were not happy and I was amazed at how many of those little
bastards were coming out of there.

That suit was great but I was still nervous as hell when they were flying around me

This is the new search area. West of 75th st. We possibly could buy a home here, if we can find what my wife wants, and also buy a condo on the island. That is the new plan that has been making its way around the house for a few weeks.

That is my neck of the woods...let me know what you are looking for and I will keep an eye out. two houses just sold on my block and are being remodeled/updated. Some parts of Perico have water access for a boat.

Finished that job. Wife is happy. Paint, install floor, install cabinets and new W&D. Now I can get back to work.

Floor was straight forward. I need to put some kind of cover over the threshold. It was a little difficult because my hardwood flooring from the rest of the house stops there and I cant take up the threshold. I was hoping to just butt the new floor right up to the threshold but the floor moved around a tiny bit and its not completely seamless. I will do something later.

Thanks for the advice....

I have been through this wartiger.

It's a tough process especially if kids are involved. but I will say there are better days ahead.

Everyone's divorce will have some differences, but one thing holds true. This too will pass.

One thing I tell everyone is get yourself a badass lawyer now and protect your rights. Especially if kids are involved, and both of you agree never to weaponize the kids. You keep your disdain for one another between the two of you or to yourselves if that exists. DO NOT USE ONE LAWYER OR A THIS IS ALL I CAN AFFORD LAWYER. THE BADASS LAWYER ONLY (Even if you are still friends).

If it is an amicable divorce all the better, and you two can remain respectful of each other.

Wish you the best bro.

It sucks to replace with these newer W&D's. they all suck and don't perform like the older models. Speed Queen (TR3, TR5, and their new classic TC5) is the only brand that still makes the old style and what I will get next.

Solid work Lanier.

Thanks Rig and Rocky it sucks. Unfortunately we have a 10 year old son. This will be hard on him but right now things are amicable. Her family is evil and I am just trying to keep it civil for our son.

I'm sorry to hear that.

Just take my advice on protecting your parental rights and ask for major visitation rights. Hard to get full physical custody as fathers, but take the emotion out of it using a great lawyer.

No getting around the pain of it all brother, and you will go through a roller coaster of emotions, but I promise it will be good one day again. Just the two of you have to promise as parents never talk bad about the other openly, and hopefully his mother will require the same of her family.

Your son isn't divorcing you two, but he will be the one most affected. It doesn't make everything for him perfect, but it can help limit the change and loss he goes through.

I know some of that sounds like damn and you aren't ready to hear all that, but it's something someone shared with me and other stuff I learned from the experience and wish I had known.

Thanks my gosh I never wanted to tell my son this news. He is the most important thing though. I will never talk bad about her to him and lord knows I have tried and tried to make this work. I appreciate all of y’all.
