Tide buddy said he's reading (yep - on another forum) it has to do with the contract. That he might be tied to a not coaching clause while getting AU money. Just rumor mill talk - but maybe - there might have been an inquiry made seeing if he wanted to remain actively employed. Again - no linky - and just a tide rumor.

Anyone every see the contract - all I've seen is the (online) extension to 49mil?

Not sure if I remember correctly, but I was under the impression that we "negotiated" paying him the full amount of his buyout even though he "resigned".
