BTW, Utah and left coast football in general are really good this year. 4-0 #10 Utah @ 3-1 #19 Oregon State. Should be a fun game. #8 USC @ Colorado, #9 Oregon vs Stanford, then @ #7 Washington in 2 weeks.
#7 Washington, steamrolling everyone @ 3-1 Arizona, 3-1 UCLA vs #16 Wazzou. I think 1 of 3 PAC 2 QBs will win the Heisman.

Noted, my bad. Actually knowing him for 40 years, I'm sure he has no problem with it. 
I thought a reinstatement thread was a good idea, and happy to see the Fam's overwhelming support for Alpine`s reinstatement. It stood out in that thread like night and day. Thank you and I know he appreciates it. Hope to see him back soon.
I guess everyone has differing opinions, but I'd like to believe that this board is much more a gathering of fairly close-knit AU Family members who feel the Auburn spirit, believe in Auburn and love it, regardless of diplomas, attendance at Auburn, AU connections or anything else. The AU Family is very warm and welcoming to any and all who feel this way. More than a dozen Fam members now here in Japan who sport their gifted gear in public with pride. Many of us know each other IRL, have made RL connections here, have gotten to know each other, our own personal situations on a fairly personal level over the years, etc. I am very thankful and feel this is a very good thing. To each his own, but I am always interested and care about getting to know everyone and their experience(s) better on a personal level. Off the top of my head, Rocky and Lanier have shared some personal information / experiences in the past that have stuck with me and earned my respect and better let me get to know them even if it is "just" online. I have offered to open my home here to anyone on this board. I wouldn't do that on any rando fan board. I have offered to make our log houses available for rentals as soon as I can come home and get them ready to any of you (well, maybe almost any of you;-). I wouldn't do that on Air BnB.
I don't feel this is some rando assortment of anonymous AU "fans", "sidewalk" or otherwise unlike other boards with "fans" who cheer on trash like Harvey Updike, shoot other "fans" for not being disappointed enough after a loss, or MILFs diving down rows of seats in checkerplaid and shite kickers to start shite and know no shame. There's a difference between Fam and fans. With Fam, it's like a marriage - for better or worse, richer or poorer, in good times and bad, sickness or health til death do us part. We don't move on to the next new thing or bounce around supporting AU on and off when things are rough and times are hard.
I was thinking a lot about this, what makes us different and Auburn special. I think we strive to police our own as necessary if / when any of us does something that embarrasses ourselves, Auburn and our AU Family. I am sure many of us have RL experiences in social settings, games and such where anyone wearing O & B and acting a fool is told to shut up and sit the frick down when making an arse of him / herself and embarrassing Auburn, instead of doing nothing or worse, egging him / her on and joining the fray. I believe in Auburn and love it, as I believe everyone else here does.
TL / DR I'm sorry. My 2 cents. Frick uga.

I don't know Alpine; however he comes across as a nice guy and he certainly doesn't deserve this nonsense.
And if it was me I'd hope someone would care enough to protect my back. I'm just taking the time out of my day to help a guy who that can't speak for himself. Maybe he doesn't care, we don't know, it's just common decency since he can't say yea or nay.
