If we melt again next year fire him, but this season is as indicative of his acumen as the 2021 roster was of Bruce. Bruce just had more capital to cash in.

Do you honestly think he's going to be able to improve over this roster in one year? Meanwhile, the fans and boosters are pissed that this guy was boondoggled into the job, recruits don't have any reason to buy into him and if he melts again next season, you're just that further behind with a program that is already a distant second fiddle to the football program in a race for investment.
I think it's a fool's game to keep him. It's a new game. It doesn't take three to five seasons to see something isn't working. Steven was integral to building this roster.

I was all for Steven getting a shot. I was very wrong. Move on. Crash like this again next year and we are headed back to our historic place on basketball.

Last time I saw that happen Shariffe was sitting two thirds of the season and Johni was still at Murray state.

Yall sound like petulant children. In the NIL era every year is a rebuild.
Very few programs can hold a roster together. We did with Broome and Cardwell but we paid for it as well. Even that team would have been doomed if Denver Jones wouldn’t have been able to develop and hold up at the 1.
That’s why you better get 2 deep talent every season. And we have 7 players that can compete this year and yall melting like fools
