I already expect much more of it near term. That's kind of the problem.

The history of the SEC is littered with "great recruiters" who couldn't coach a football team.

Are you ready to gamble with the former? Maybe someone that proves to be a not-so-good recruiter and coach. Another Billy Napier?

Welcome back to 2019

My argument then. Look what has happened

The difference between Gus and Hugh is Gus had success. Hugh has had nothing but failure.

Gus recruited well , Hugh recruited well. The next guy will recruit well. Its a fairly easy place to recruit to. Haskins just didnt try

As long as Hugh is here, we will not be successful. So you have to decide when your going to make that change and how long are you going to suffer before you do so

Billy Napier’s coaching runs circles around Freeze this year

Instead of just collapsing this week after giving the game to Tennessee last week, they came out and dominated yesterday.

THAT is COACHING

(Meant for AUveritas)

Had a conversation today with a friend and we were talking about that very thing. Im not saying its time for Billy to get a raise but he righted the ship and has Florida playing better overall than they were early on.

Improving, not regressing

I honestly don’t remember a single person saying he was a slam dunk hire. I think most were mildly disappointed, but willing to give him a chance.

AU is considered the worst coaching job in P4 by most coaches in the industry. So, yeah, it's gonna be hard to find anyone else.

Yep

Football was built on both mental and physical toughness

Out muscling people on the lines of scrimmage

Billy actually has this mindset and HAS been getting better

It's like Freeze thinks he can just build a team of 4 and 5 stars and call the right plays like he is playing Xbox or PlayStation and it will work.

It’s so obvious that fundamentals are severely lacking 2 years in a row under his leadership

Orange and blue deniers don’t want to hear it. They will eventually. Today they say you are a liar. Tomorrow they will tell you they knew all along and tried to tell you.

Saying we are stuck with anyone because nobody would want the Auburn job is a losing mentality.

That’s like saying a man is stuck with a cheating abusive wife because people talk behind his back saying he will never find anyone else.

Complete nonsense

Thanks for proof that I am getting a little too close to the TRUTH for you to be comfortable

Folks that are dead wrong often take little stupid shots like that.

Keep enjoying losing,

Sincerely 5-year old.

I don't remember. I just remember the most vocal Freeze supporters that argued everything from Ole Miss /Liberty days, scandals, and so on. Most of the anti-freeze fans had a moral issue than anything.

I think me and you were on the same camp, because I remember agreeing with you a lot

I was on the "I want Lane" train, and got stoked when MidnightTiger was posting info from the forbidden sauces. Then Lane welched and said no at the 11th hour (he's leaving for Florida anyways), and then I didn't know who I wanted.

Doesn’t matter what we want or think the money makers are going to extend his contract for two more years.

Because of one game where they beat Kentucky? When’s the last time they won an SEC game?

I get that, but overall they are playing better now than they were earlier in the season. Regardless of who they're playing. We on the other hand, are regressing. And have no idea how to win.
