Is the ones already posted the interview he basically said Arnold wasn’t who was perceived as?

Or one of the other few he’s done?

Who’s the last QB we had who could actually read the defense perfectly?

My dude, there is a thread by Jang titled the exact same Hugh Freeze Interview please check a little

I haven’t listen to it yet due to work, but JOX said Hugh basically said Jackson was the reason he was fired. He wasn’t who he was portrayed to be.

He was exactly what Oklahoma fans told us he would be, we just didn’t want to hear it- some did granted but most just hoped he could be serviceable with great WRs. He ended up exactly as he was billed from oklahoma.

I brought up that interview to that thread. I dont think Freeze meant ill will toward Arnold. Just listen to it.

I didn’t take it that way either- but it was him deflecting. If only… points finger towards QB. He should know three fingers point back at him too.

Sorry Jang, the interview was buried on your 3rd page.

Just listened and to it. Hugh sounds very defeated and I can empathize with him. Being in the workforce for decades and all of a sudden you can’t get past the black cloud, doing the exact thing you’ve always done sucks.

Dating back to last season we had losses in 1 score games several times.

It goes back to a “loser” mindset; but Hugh said he prepared the same, spoke the same, etc. as he always has. I wonder why this group couldn’t shake it.

New order is coming in with Ivan Drago mindset!

Hugh definitely sounded defeated and he has been holding negative press conferences all year with the whining and pity me stuff.

He hasn't always been that way but he was this year and that rendered him an ineffective leader.

Good talk

Hugh Freeze is a degenerate POS human being who never should have been given the privilege to coach AU. Freeze should probably in jail for child molestation from his days watching HS girls change shirts. His daughter sounds just as much of a POS as her daddy. Good riddance to Freezus.

So where will he go? Little League Youth Football or….Auburn High School? Maybe Junior Varsity or Middle School?

Maybe Dadeville? He could try Columbus.

Put your money in the bank and keep walking the white ball during the week.

If it had only been Oklahoma and Georgia, maybe, possibly, there is an excuse for two games. But week after week, the same tired trash. If an offense is having problems…..they stay on the practice field. But Hugh didn’t try.

He got fired for lack of performance. I’ve people for lack of performance. I’ve jerked a teammate out of the huddle for stupidity.

Hugh was the head Coach, year after year….and we all saw it in the last three games. Different attitude, different cadence, different rythym…..he called the plays…..he failed…..maybe High School ball is where he needs to go.

The final straw was being head coach and not recognizing have a 17 year old as the starting center for KY was a bad idea.

I thought we would limp along with him for one more year until that.

We all feel defeated at times. We don't all get million dollar buyouts to soften the blow.

I hope I do not see his name on this board again.

One player was the failure? Short sighted view. Failure to have him ready maybe. Age had nothing to do with it…PREPARATION was the failure of the line coach……

Disagree about the young center excuse….more a failure of preparation by the now gone line coach.

Agree with time for Hugh to move on.

Meh, he played very solid against Arkansas. Kentucky just ate his lunch. Inconsitency of a freshman. He seemed to not handle stunts very well, but you could say that about our whole OL. They were coached very poorly.

Agree to disagree on this point. Kid was bullied all night by Kentucky and he stayed in. That was a coaching call.

He did admirable against Arkansas, but I am pretty sure he graded out as below average or poor- against Arkansas.

None of this was his fault but I find it hard to believe our defense did not eat his lunch during practice. If Hugh even had the offense practice.

Abolsutely. And despite it all, I think if we somehow won KY we would still be stuck with Freeze.

It was decided to let him go after the OT loss vs Mizzou

He had to win at least 8 to keep his job

All of this couldn’t have worked out better

We are about to start doing what Ole Miss did the last 6 years at minimum
