Tank did run 1 time on that series, and got 1 yard...
They were not going to allow our RBs to sniff the EZ. Our line is pretty good...not great. Tank had to run it 26 times just to get over the 100 yard mark.
Now I will agree...the pass play to me, was low percentage and never going to work with our inexperienced WR.
Bo under center...fake to Tank on a run... freeze the LBs..then toss over to Tank in the flat to let him do his thing against one of their DBs? THAT I can live with...

I don't hate the defense, feels more like adjustment and growing pains as expected. Over time I think it will end up doing better against tougher competition

Hopefully one of the young guys sees what’s NOT being done and steps up their game - that should include the 2 C’s.

But I think with the transfer portal we can fill needs more rapidly, at least in the off season. We’re going to take some lumps this year for sure before we get a foundation built
