Oh man, that's awesome! Bonita / Bonito have always been a huge part of the Japanese diet. Filets are smoked and dried, then thinly shaved to make "dashi" or broth for miso soup and everything else. It's awesome as sashimi with grated ginger, garlic, soy and any citrus, and the outer 1/3 or so is often scorched with a burner or over a fire (tradtionally rice straw), so it's cooked on the outside and raw on the inside. Don't let any Japanese see you releasing fish like that. They'll think you're crazy. Fish=food around these parts. Thanks for the vids!

We dont eat them. Either catch and release or we cut them up for grouper bait. That meat is too bloody.

Through the 36 years of marriage, my wife and I have been pretty lucky with things we have bought, built, took chances on. Not a lot of catastrophes. This house though, could end us both if we were not such a good team, somewhat patient and frequently intoxicated.
I dont know why and how we picked this builder, one of Floridas biggest, but it was a mistake. I know eventually, we will love this house, live there and call it home. But right now, I just wished I could go back 17 months, thats right, and make a different decision.
Just a few more months to go. Hard to believe it still not finished.. Sorry for the rant

Stayed home from work today. Wife put me to work packing up our stuff in the house. Be glad to be back at work tomorrow.
