Says the leader of the Market Rate Morons. Idiots like you are why we are stuck with Gus. His pay matters because we can't easily get rid of him even though he sucks at his job.

I know you do nothing to pay his salary, if Auburn wants to get rid of him they can.

Auburn is losing millions of dollars this year. A Malzahn buyout would cost them millions more.

And if Malzahn stays, the likely lack of financial support moving forward will cost them millions more. Fantastic scenario.

Thanks, Leath. (And Auburn paid Leath to leave, too!)
Hoke says it well here, for those that don’t understand why it matters how much he makes.

Why doesn’t it matter?

I think he’s not earning the value of his contract.
We are not a consistent program 8 years in to his tenure.

How many years until Gus can get the AU football program to be consistent?

I guess we are consistently mediocre.

I’m sure if the boosters that pay his contract want him gone they can make it happen. But it’s by far the worst contract ever like the dumbass op thinks it is

The university should eat it, or the ones who approved.
