I subscribe to your line of thinking. It's quite sensible.

Do you? I'm drunk as hell right now (because of the game) so I'm surprised I'm even making sense.

There are some dark forces at work for the SEC this week. I blame everyone looking ahead to conference play #excuseU

Do we have a better option? It's a value decision. I value having consistency at quarterback and instilling that confidence in a three year player that could potentially be great if he settles down, rather than valuing the idea of air-dropping a green QB with an entirely different skill set and less grasp of the offense. Not talking about you, but it's easy to run your mouth online about how the 2nd string quarterback should get the reps. shite, we did that last year. I just like playing devil's advocate.

My buddy was saying that White should have been in for the entire second half when we were eating lunch today. That is a really tough call to make. There is a reason why JJ is the 1 guy and White is 2 and it isn't seniority or playing time because neither had it entering the season. Do you potentially pull your 1 and break his spirit and confidence or do you ride it out and let him take his lumps and possibly turn the corner? I am hoping that JJ making some throws at the end of the game will help him turn the corner and get him going for next week.

My problem with JJ right now is how bad the picks look. All 4 of his first picks were down right awful and in the numbers of an open defender. That worries me that he isn't seeing defenders that are right there and he is throwing the ball blindly into traffic.

In a weird way, they somehow make me feel better than, say, marginally bad throws to open receivers. This isn't a QB that is making decisions and physically underperforming, this is a QB that is straight up making the wrong decisions mentally. I sound like a parrot, but this dude has all the tools he needs to be great if he can read the defense properly. If he can get out of tunnel vision, he'll be good. He just needs help to do so.

ummmmmmm

did you see on the first drive when he limpdicked it into the ground to end the drive?

did you see when he overthrew that route on the near side by about 20 yards out of bounds?

Does Gus think his stubborness in refusing to make some changes will eventually pay off this season?
So Barber will not be our starter, why? It's okay that he bailed us out, brought us the W today, but he can't be our starting RB?
Wow.

Play bad against a FCS school and have JJ become superman against LSU.

Thats the posibarner spirit!

As for me I was ready to melt like a motherfricker. As of now I have just reset my sights on 8-4. Clearly this is not a team of greatness.

Also looks like the injury bug is alive and well this year. One thing about 2010 and 2013, we stayed remarkably injury free.

Hoping Mathews and Lawson can play against LSU. Soooo fricking pissed about the bullshite targeting call on countess. Dude will miss half of LSU game correct?

WHo was that motherfricking ref? He had several bad calls.

You guys are funny calling for the backup qb right now.

Always the most popular guy on the team. Every year, no matter what. So many wanted nick benched for JJ last year.

If 5 INTS in the first 2 games isn't a valid reason to try out your backup, I don't know what is

And these ints weren't cunningly disguised coverages or tipped balls or great individual plays...

THEY WERE THROWN RIGHT INTO THE NUMBERS OF THE DEFENDERS.
