Can we just stop with the Gus comparisons?
Gus flamed out in Auburn just as Tubs did.
They are BOTH much better coaches than Freeze.

I hope he is right. Sadly, I haven't seen anything yet giving me hope Freeze is the answer. He makes a lot of excuses while taking very little blame. That is a bad sign for a HC, IMO.

All of y’all will be praising Freeze on signing when he signs the best class in Auburn football history. Good things are on the horizon.

Exactly. It’s almost like people didn’t hear Freeze when he was hired and said he needed 2 full recruiting classes before they could start competing. The man was honest. Now, I do think Auburn could’ve been much better this season with a portal QB, and that is my gripe with him.

Lol. Long time to go till signing day.
If I'm a currently committed HS recruit who is worth anything and this season ends at 3 wins (or dare I say even 2), my price tag is going up big time. Freeze's nuts are going to be securely held in the vice-grip of all the handlers and advisers.
What is he going to do? Completely shite the bed on the field, and then let let his only meal tickets (HS recruits) go elsewhere?

I'm hopeful that the Freeze backers are aware that no recruits, Freeze is no longer necessary, so they pay up.

We've competed in every single game this year. Even Cal and Arkansas with an extreme amount of turnovers. They've controlled 2 games into the 4th quarter where double digit leads were blown. And no, I'm not about moral victories. A loss is a loss and we should have held those leads against OU and Mizzou. But we didn't. It's an extremely young team as far as where the talent is. The upperclassmen who transferred in, transferred in for a reason. The only one who is worth even close to what he's making in NIL, as far as transfers go, is KSL.
We are way closer than the "Never-Freeze" people don't care about that though. There us plenty of blame to go around between the entire coaching staff and the players on the field. But they are close.

Thorne was nearly last in the conference in QB play last year. 5th this year.

Yes. His HC has put up really good offenses with even average QB play. PT is below average, and that really hinders Freeze from calling the offense like he wants to.

If PT is below average, what is Robby Ashford? You know the guy that is currently a backup to Sellers, another guy that Payton Thorne outranks of course.
