Yeah, because non-Auburn fans are furious at Gus Malzahn right now? If I weren't an Auburn fan, I would be stoked right now. Unfortunately, I am angry. Angry because Auburn will probably release the news of Malzahn's new raise and extension tomorrow. A raise and extension that this clown hasn't and probably will never earn!

What the frick do the UGA or Bama wins mean without a trophy to show for it??? Yes, I was very pleased that he was able to dominate in those two games. But 20 years from now, what will this season mean? Nothing. He proved the narrative of we can't win away from JHS correct today. 10-3, 8-4, 7-5, doesn't matter without a trophy...

I don't understand this mentality. Auburn went 10-2 in the regular season which is what most fans expected. Also, most fans didn't expect to win the west. Did Gus shite the bed in the SECcg? Sure. Were most of us expecting to be there at the start of the season? No.
I suppose the issue comes down to Gus underperforming when he shouldn't. Oh well. I've toned down my expectations, and fully expected us to lose today. Things fidnt go our way today. Two star defensive players out. KJ playing at probably 75%. What can you really expect?

Yes, we expected to compete for the SEC and a NC. We brought back a solid team that was only missing a QB. Enter Jarrett Stidham. What's the excuse now? It was no defense for several years, we have a great D now. 7 fricking points in the SEC Championship is inexcusable for a gotdamn offensive guru like Gus!

I expect to compete for an SEC championship every year, but I also realize that our in-state rival is in the midst of one of the greatest runs in cfb. 10-2 is what I predicted at the start of the season. What Gus did over the last few games is awesome. If he chooses to go to Arky, then so be it. But I think melting otherwise is wasted energy.

Yeah, I gave up expectations after LSU. I guess that's why losing today isn't that big of a deal to me. Until we go 12-0 or 11-1 consistently, I'll just accept what we have and be thankful for the division titles.
