Congrats on the new addition!

They are the best. Fun to see them grow up in a different way that raising your own. Not so caught up in the day to day but can appreciate the wonders of a child learning.

Fishing with my grandad are some of my most vivid childhood memories.

It also is responsible for me wasting tons of money and time chasing fish!

I have one of his bass rods that my mom had custom made for him, it's not particularly nice, but it has his name on it. I need to dust it off and catch a bass with it in his honor. It probably hasn't been used in 25 years.

Grandads are special. The have the patience that parents can't afford sometimes. I'm sure those kids will have a ball with you on the boat.

Just got back from a week in SGI followed by a long weekend in N. GA and back to the grind but happy to have a short holiday week coming up.

Thanks. Looking forward to seeing him in Georgia in a few weeks..

I have been stacking work days together lately so I can take most of the week off next week. Lots of boating plans. Working tomorrow, Sunday, all day and maybe Monday and Tuesday. May take the rest of the week off or maybe only work a morning or two...

Having a 4th of July bash at our house Friday then heading out on the boat Saturday and Sunday.....

My USCG Captains license came through so I am setting things up to run charters in the Gulf in a month or two. I just need to do a few little things to be ready.

Congrats man! Grandkids rock and that little man looks awesome. Older sister will school him on the world. Get to see my grandkids in person again at Thanksgiving. Facetimed with them this morning/last night. Sucks they were in Vietnam and I was in NC.

I hear you. That’s a good bit farther away than mine. LOL.

Big sis is happy right now with him. We will see how long that lasts.

Are you happy with the house, now that it's finished, and the boat? I've normally been much happier with the house decisions than my boat decisions.

Happy with both. The boat has been great once the initial list of issues were handled. I have basically gotten it all set up like I need it to be and it has been serving me well. I really want to upgrade to a 28 with twins on it but right now , I can not justify spending the money

We love the house. Builder is a POS. I would never recommend him to anyone. Id burn his arse to the ground if I knew how. That being said, love the neighborhood and WE have done a great job repairing and getting the house like we like it

Did I mention that I dont like the builder?

Why you hating on your boat?

We had a Tiara when we lived in Jax. That thing could break the bank on gas alone. No boats for me now.

It's sad that someone can guess who your shitty builder was. How do people still use him?

Well it’s Florida and he is a huge builder here.

My biggest complaint with them is not quality of the house, it is customer service. Non existent.
