Forty some odd years ago, as a student I headed to the stadium for the Georgia game

When I arrived at the stadium gate I was dressed in the standard fare, blue blazer, button down white shirt, Auburn tie, penny loafers.....and no pants, only boxers.

Security looked at me and asked what I was doing. I said "I am a true southern gentleman, and given the fact we are about to beat the pants off those little puppies, I thought I would dress in kind to make them feel welcome".

He looked at me very seriously and said "You are indeed a gentleman and you may proceed sir".
