When you have a mobile QB, rushing 3 actually makes some sense IF they can get a half decent pocket collapse. You can have a LB kind of spy and also kind of drop in zone to help flush out the QB if he breaks contain, but also just have an extra bit of congestion in the middle of the field. Problem is, we lose contain at every level and your whole plan it shot

Everytime I've noticed us spying here comes a fricking under route to clear it

That’s where rushing 3 should help, because he shouldn’t be worrying about that route. We have other guys that should be. He should just be extra congestion. Our other guys fail though and lose track of the crossers.

Just wanted to say that C5 got Siskey on his show today. He repeats some of the stuff he said the other day, but it's worth a watch.

Defense is Jeckyl and Hyde. First half sucks, make adjustments, second half better but DB coverage is bad at times and for prolonged stretches, obviously had no plan for mobile QB against ARK or just couldn't do it.
I think the little details like tipped balls and fumbling running backs and DB's out of position and late hits are all signs of a coaching staff that does not pay attention to details.
In a scrimmage or practice, a good coach blows the whistle and yells at the RB when he holds the ball wrong, yells at a WR when he tips the ball. I don't think we have enough of that.

Depends on the QB. But the context of me writing was who would you see gone to make up the price of Cam? Which new WR which Lineman? So there isn't an endless pot of money. I also heard that some people pulled their support to the collective. Not big money but some fans post Arky lost.

That is true but folks saying that we should have gone all in on Cam Ward is crazy talk because we wouldn't have gotten some of the other players we did. So could we have gotten a smaller tier guy? Probably but maybe the coaches didn't think the kid fit the scheme who knows. But we have issues that are being addressed in recruiting but this is really only year 2 so it is tough to get in on all the players you need in that short of time.

I believe the reasoning to fill the roster before paying up for a splash QB is sound. You could say I was wrong but so be it.

Besides KLS, no transfer has come in and made an impact this year. So take your pick.
