Weird I thought Oregon was in a power 5 conference? Because I heard on here that no P5 school would want him. What’s even more weird is probably the defensive coach that knows the most about him from an opposing point of view is the coach that wanted him. Man that coach must be a dumbass

We need a safe haven for you guys thinking Nix was THE guy…..

The Nix’s are in it for themselves.. I don’t blame them… but it’s the truth.

The "Kenny Dillingham as OC" rumors make a lot more sense now.

So the Nix Family chose to rehab Bo with the OC who took FSU to depths not plumbed since the 60's and 70's.

Solid decision making.

Just glad he found somewhere, so we can anchor the Nix threads and move on to more important subjects. Like who will actually be at Auburn next season

That’s adorable you think this ends Bo threads, or any other posts concerning Bo.

Nawh, and not to cast doubt, hope, or hate.

But why anchor *discussing the best possible Bo test? He wanted a fresh shot at a new chance and he's got it. Hopefully (yep hope) he lands on two feet running. And if not at least it's going to be interesting.

Meta gave a huge spill about Bo only having 11 passing touchdowns in modern day football as if that alone just showed how pathetic he was

He said all of this even though Slovis only had 11 TDs, 8 INTs, and his passing rating was only better by the slimmest of margins in juxtaposition with Nix’s despite having better talent, worse competition. and has also regressed significantly the last 3 years. If you want a better QB, so be it. Don’t be calling for the equivalent of Bo or the worst version as was done with Finley’s

credibility is tanking fast….

LMAO.

You conveniently left out the fact that there are THREE years of data on these two players, not one. Why would you do that? Would it be because Slovis threw 30 TD's in 2019? How about the 17 TD's he threw in just SIX games in 2020 (that's almost three per game if you need maths help)? You see, the difference is that one of these two players actually has a track record of dynamic performance as a passer. Not just throwing touchdowns, but also completing passes at an impressive rate. The other player has three years of passing performance that can ONLY be described as pedestrian. Do I also need to explain to you that a past history of being able to do something is a better predictor of future performance than a history of pedestrian performance?

The cherry on top here is that you all of a sudden want to give zero credence to outside factors when evaluating Slovis, but you're happy to give three seasons worth of insulation for Bo Nix's average (or below average in some cases) performance in the form of: OL wasn't good, WR's weren't good, the OC and playcalling wasn't good. Do you not realize that USC was 4-8 this season (that's actually worse than our 6-6 season)? That their HC got fired during the season? That Slovis' "regression" is actually tied to his injury problems? If USC supposedly has better talent and plays worse competition like you just stated, then why did they only win 4 games this season? If the fault lies on the fired HC in that scenario, then how is it that somehow that point was missed in your evaluation of Slovis, when I know for fact that you're more than willing to say that Bo Nix didn't perform because of Malzahn's failures?

You are so fricking out to lunch on this Bo Nix topic that you don't even know what planet you're on with these arguments. Are you seriously trying to sit there and tell me that Kedon Slovis hasn't proven to be a considerably better passer through three seasons worth of data? What I said about Bo Nix's TD output is pure fact: he has thrown for 16, 12, and 11 TD's over his three seasons as a starter. That is well below average. When I stated that almost 50% of his TD passes this season came against the two cupcakes on our schedule, that was also pure fact. Don't sit there and tell me "oh he has no help and the OL stinks and the WR's stink" and then try to argue that Kedon Slovis on 4-8 USC in an injury-season is somehow entirely comparable to Bo Nix, while also magically forgetting that Slovis actually HAS a track-record of above-average passing performance. But riiiight, it's just because he plays in the PAC12 where you just show up ad complete 70% of your passes, right?

No I pointed out the significant regression.

Since when did you care about variables? Our OL sucks, our receivers couldn’t catch, our quarterback wasn’t turning the ball over against the Georgia’s and it was ALWAYS Bo’s fault.

Drake London, a future early round draft pick ring a bell? Their OL was better. Their competition is less stiff. I don’t think you want to go this route. He sucking is probably why the team went 4-8.
