That 8th grader is insane. I had someone tell me how good he was early in the season before he was actually playing and thought they were out of their minds with how much they were hyping up a middle school kid. He’s unreal.

The recruiting that's going on in AL HS football right now is crazy. I saw it a little back in the early 2000s, but it's at a crazy level now. When Etheridge went to Auburn a few years ago, Oxford still had a solid starting 22. About half of them ended up between Auburn, Thompson and Gulf Shores the next season including two of the Fegans kids at Thompson (one who ended up at Bama). It's insane.
That 8th grader is a legend now. 8th grade and throwing 5tds in the title game of the highest classification in the state. Yeah, he's good.

That's big. Piedmont has been really good for a while now. They poured some serious cash into the school about a decade ago and haven't stopped. Their 3A stadium rivals some bigger 6A schools. It's pretty wild.

When that public school is Piedmont who's had 3A on lock for a while, teach, it is. The run Piedmont has had since 2008 or 2009 (their first state title)is just as good as anyone in the state.
Especially considering they're a small public school.

I went to a 4A school until 9th grade. I don’t understand where podunk Alabama Piedmont gets all that money. Their 3A school is nice af. Their coach looks 1A lol.
Do you know who contributed that money?
