Sure for people who do this for a living and are at these camps and seeing this guys up close but we really got that many random guys on a message board doing this? How do you even have access to body types and potential growth?

Well you look at the classification of the schools, how they look compared to their peers, then you look for their strengths and weaknesses such as explosive movement, at the line of scrimmage at pad level and ability to get off blocks or maintain blocks. After that you watch foot work and if they have the agility to improve their technique or is their foot speed needs a lot of work.

It’s also a plus to have been around SEC caliber athletes and see what they look like. Like I’ve mentioned before you can’t just watch a high light video because every 3 star in the country basically dominates almost every game they play unless going up against another 3 star or higher rated player. You’re a damn good football player if you are ranked in the top 1000 players in the country. But Auburn can’t win with a team full of players ranked 500 and above. Need 6-10 top 100 players each year. Need another 6-10 of the top 250 each year just to be competitive

It’s mostly made up gibberish with no repercussions for being wrong most of the time.

Maybe 1. This was about getting elite talent on campus and getting them together. Seeing who is really interested. What compensation they are looking for.

Henderson might be the one ready to commit if he and Roc hit it off this weekend

everyone is an armchair coach on this board. Some coach high school and think they know it all when they really dont know shite. Theyre not connected to the program, they dont have access to the team or their workouts.

Its basically, watch a kids HUDL film and make judgements based on the highlights given. Then listen to podcasts. Take their inside knowledge, tie it together the personal experience, add a dash of highlight film and poof. Expert Rant opinion

From my understanding Elee is wanting a huge huge bag.

Huge bags should be reserved for Auburn studs first and portal studs second. HS recruiting is a joke

Just don’t think it’s a good investment for Elee when you have 3 other edge players that are very very good in play this cycle. I’m not saying we won’t keep recruiting him just don’t think we are gonna drop a big bag on him.

He’s the kid from Maryland that they have put all their chips in on, right? These schools that don’t recruit well always overpay for that 1 recruit.

Both are from Maryland Elee and the OT. Different schools tho.

Elee is from St. Frances who we have several commits from last year and Henry for this class. Jireh Edwards is also from St. Frances in this years class

Not sure which player you were talking about. The OT spot is very thin in our natural footprint

The DE, Elee. Maryland has offered him a massive NIL deal.
