As far as Ricardo Louis goes he has the ability to do it all reverses underneath stuff and go vertical. I'm just not sure if the coaches will sit a vet in Travon Reed in order or Louis to play more.

If Reed doesn't pick up his game then nothing will help him stay on the field. Louis is a very aggressive runner after catch and hopefully will only get consistent. Big kid will bust on corners and safety's.

They play different positions. Reed is a inside guy, Louis is an outside guy. With that said...I bet Reed has a HUGE season.

Louis can play slot but would play a different style than Reed or Bray.

All three can play outsid though according to coaches

They play the same position, flanker. Denson and Coates are at the other outside WR, and Bray is in the slot

It'd be nice to have a good WR and a good LB. Maybe that's too much to ask..

Rod Bramblett was just on the radio and he seems really impressed with JJ. He didn't say JJ would be the starter, but he said he has the it factor and experience would be the factor with him.

Sounds like JJ is the best QB, but Marshall is also good and has experience. Going to be a tough call for Gus. IMO

Diamond is very big, but can't hit a blocking sled for shite.

Saw this quote yesterday. Not sure where it came from:

Gus -

"Both Nick and JJ can run the ball. Nick has a very good arm and JJ has an NFL arm"

Your Westminster Dog Show analogy was perfect and right spot on. Nick is the #1 dog, but Gus wants Jeremy to give it all he's got to try and take it from him.

If he is talking about arm strength, I don't see how that is possible. I saw Nick Marshall throw a ball some 75 yards in the air

ETA:

There are positions we just straight up struggle with and LB and WR are them. I'd gamble that in the last 15 years we are near the bottom of the league in All SEC LBs and WRs

Hey! Someone got it! And, yeah, Gus and Rhett are obviously quite taken with JJ.

I asked about this quote last night, somewhere on here. I wanted to know if the source quote was an accurate quote, if Gus really said that on Tiger Talk. (I was listening but perhaps not closely enough.) Pretty telling if true, and perhaps revealing as to who he would like QBing the team -- if he could bring himself to start a frosh.
