Scrimmage is 10 am central I believe. I'm sure we'll start to see some seperation at some of the contested spots after today.

Per Rivals.

** 85 plays

** Special teams was live

** "It was good for us. It was hot. That's a good thing. There were a lot of ups and downs. We're to a point now where we're ... going to start narrowing things down. It will be narrowed."

** Tucker Tuberville went live.

** On the QBs: "They all got reps again."

** On separation: "I'd like to think so. Hopefully after we watch the film, we'll be able to do some of that (narrowing down.)"

** "You can't keep repping four guys."

** On Nick: "I didn't really know what to expect. It's just a matter of ... each day, he gets more and more comfortable."

** He said some starters were held out because coaches were more interested in assessing their backups.

** He said there were some "bumps and bruises."

Justin Lee reported that both Marshall and JJ had TD passes.

One interception was thrown on a play with a bobbled snap. No report on who threw the pick.

The players looked absolutely gassed today, especially the backups. I saw them as they were walking back to the complex. Cameron Toney must have got a lot of time in as he was sweating like a dog

NM TD pass was to Fulse.

Reports are that Louis went HAM today. This pleases me.

To piggy-back off that, here's bankable info; it comes from the Bunker.

Jeremy Johnson hooking up with Louis for a td pleases me.

Also NM's was a bomb to Fulse. This pleases me as well. If we can line up Fulse and Uzomah out wide we should be able to get some good mismatches against Lb's.

*Per Fake Gabe

Jeremy Johnson was the most impressive at QB.

Nick Marshall was a close second.

Frazier didn't play much.

Wallace threw the pick to Brandon King.

My guess is that he will name a starter in the next day or 2 (NM) and say it's still too close to call at the moment for the number 2 position (JJ). Will make that decision after the following scrimmage.

EDIT: If I have that backwards it will absolutely blow me away.

Excepting injury, must mean they know enough about him.

I would prefer not to have to start back to back true freshman at QBs so I hope NM gets the nod.

I also think that his gamebreaking running ability is hard to showcase in controlled scrimmages no matter how "live" they claim them to be

If it were me, I'd strongly consider redshirting JJ. By next season, he'll be more than ready.

CAN YOU DIG IT!?

I have been so excited about our RB crop from last cycle. I think Barber and Ford are monsters
