Very elegant and dignified post, my friend. Now take the stick out of your arse. I like E, and he knows it. (You know I like you, E, tell me ya do!)
Owe him an apology..!? I went on a mild rant at him because he did hijack the thread and he's a moderator over at-- What the frick am I explaining this to you for? GFY! jk But seriously, don't fricking tell me I need to fricking do. k?
(E, I'm sorry if you were offended. It was really, in my mind, sort of pseudo-sarcastic, but you know I think you're the Sheldon of message boards. And in this case you could be right. I wasn't being (really, actually) sarcastic or ironic, those things you wouldn't know if I were. But still, sorry. I meant what I said. But sorry.)

It was simply “personally I think” no commands whatsoever. Water under the bridge.

What's ironic is that rant has now become a hijack itself....

And creepy and cloying.
I won't break him out again as long as no one makes me break him out.

Seriously, today's news is played out. Let it die. Got 2-a-days (!!) tomorrow. Plus, hopefully, a semblance of a depth chart will emerge.
And Holland's not slow. He's not. He's just ineffectual and weak and undersized.

I'm with whoever said they are pissed that Holland made a good play.
I only want to see him on the field for clean up duty when we are up 30 points in the 4th.

I was excited when I saw four new pages in this thread from when I last looked at it. Then I read the last two pages and was disappointed.
Has anyone heard who started with the first team OL at the scrimmage? I'm sure there was a lot of subbing in and out but it'd be nice to know who's gonna lock down the guard positions and RT.

Yep, it appears "The Civil War" really heated up on here last night.

Honestly, I was too, which seems a little wrong I guess. I just feel in my gut when the lights come on Jake will flop and hurt us.
Would be a great story, if he proved us all wrong, but I just don't see it based on his talent.

I'm sure it's already been said, but is there just practice today or did I see someone say there is another scrimmage? I thought I saw that but am too lazy to go back and look

I think I saw somewhere that there are 2 practices today. I'll try to find a link.

AUC Team Insider Notes:
*QB race still wide open. Both Frazier and Marshall look well on the run but are inconsistent passing.
*Jeremy Johnson has the most upside.
*Wallace is the hardest working and has the respect of the team but is behind the other three.
*Race is wide open but BM expects Marshall.
*WR is performing as average group outside of Quan Bray.
*The running game is the brightest spot of the offense.
*OLine is performing very will with all three veteran RB. (CAP, Mason and Grant)
*Cornerbacks group performing best on D side of ball led by Chris Davis and Jonathan Mincy. There is also quality depth.
*Safety position is work in progress but headed in the right direction. Will be boosted when McNeal returns, which should be soon.
*Garrett is playing well but needs to perform a bit better to take his game to another level at Star...
*Jake Holland had the best scrimmage at LB and is on track to win a starting position. He performed mostly at Mike but also some at Will.
*Kris Frost and Cass McKenzy are very gift but inconsistent.
*All three will play this fall...
*Lawson and Daniel are go through expected growing pains but expected to get much PT this fall. Tremendous upside.

I just saw NGT's thread on the rant. Next scrimmage is Saturday

Apparently the OLine, Tre Mason, and CAP are doing really well this fall.
