yea but what has been the most successful for him?

Not passing offense

Run the ball and have a athletic QB that can do the same.

Our offense has been most successful when we have a deep threat.

Edited your post. 2017 was successful but can’t argue that it was as successful as 2010 or 2013.

What is this noise about Auburn changing its logo?

The years we’ve had success have one thing in common and it’s not at QB. The OL played exceptionally well to great in 2010, 2013, and 2017. W/o good OL play, it doesn’t matter who your play makers are. They just won’t be able to get it done.

Yep, Jamal

He has to wine for 3pages to make his opinion official.

You are ignoring the fact that dual threat quarterbacks often make o lines appear much better than they actually are.

Yep. People forget how often Cam avoided sacks by himself. Exactly why I hope Gatewood gets the start, because of his ability to avoid being sacked. I don't think Nix can do that.

I believe he is a tequila man, but I am sure he may have downed some sangria here and there.

If they can find a play maker or two on offense, this could be a really good year for them.

I’m still wondering where the speed on the ends is going to come from.

The running game creates the deep threat. It is just a by product of having a read offense with a running QB

I think the reason many of us are pulling for JG is because Gus won with Cam and Nick, who JG resembles on paper and the little playing time we’ve seen.

Nix is a great AU story, but we haven’t seen Gus win with a pocket passer. 2017 was KJ carrying the load.

I found an article from last month saying they were going to change the classic interlocking AU to make the A a little bigger and the U a little smaller to eliminate the white space in between letters.

People are going to flip. They will shite, then they will flip. What idiots think it is a good idea to do this kind of thing? Change for the sake of freaking change?

I'd argue the opposite. The deep threat opens up the run game.

Supposedly there’s a version in review with a very, very minor adjustment from those that have seen it. I have not seen it
