8-2 would be a good season for any team in the country with a 10 game SEC slate.

Although, if our 2 losses are to GA and Alabama, is that going to quiet the Gus protestors? :)

Our only Quality win would be against LSU, who no ones knows how good they will be after losing 30 players off that NC roster....

Why do we try to make a prediction on a season that no one has a clue how will go. What if Britt, Pappoe, and Bo go down in week 2. Is 8-2 good enough then. 5-5? Who knows who is going to be good teams before the season. What if Ole miss goes 9-1 is a loss to them a bad loss. Let the season play out then judge a coaches performance in that season. For me there have been 3 games that Gus blew it 2 against UGA and 1 against LSU. Should we have beaten UCF and Minnesota of course but I hold that on the players now Gus. Yeah yeah the coach is responsible for everything but the players have got to play with effort as well. I’m just gonna try to enjoy football this year and not worry about the other stuff because just getting to watch our team is more then we thought just a couple months ago

Nope. That 8-2 will leave us ranked 3rd in the West.

Look I can see 8-2, but I just can't see us losing to Georgia this year. They are depleted at the moment and have no QB experience. If anything, this is the year to take them in Athens. I can see us dropping it to Bama. Gus gets a pass this year because of covid. I agree with someone else in the chat I feel like 2021 is going to be a huge year for us.

I can’t see us beating Georgia. Cause we hardly ever actually do it.

No coaches are getting fired this year probably any where except for a scandal.

Also those that think we should win at UGA I don’t know what y’all are smoking. We will be at least a 6 point dog. They have an huge talent advantage. Their defense will be the best we face on the schedule and in game 2 of a new offense.

They have 25, 5* players walking the sidelines. Why does everyone just immediately think we should beat them every year. I get "wanting" to beat them bu they have more talent that us by a long shot right now.

Just because one QB left, that does not make them shite. They will still be a very very good team

Wouldn't that require two SECW teams to go undefeated in the West which is impossible.

Auburn’s talent is on par with LSU though, and they have no problem beating the hell out of thUGA.

No it not. Not at the offensive skill position.

I added it up last year but this was my finding from the 247 composite. I used .9200 as a baseline for SEC starter at the better schools in the conference.

Bama had 50ish players ranked .9200 or higher
UGA had 44
LSU 36ish
AU 24
UF 22
aTm 20ish

I can’t remember the exact numbers but they are very close. So no we are close to talented as LSU. Us UF and aTm are close. Can we beat everyone of those teams absolutely but we have to play well and have to not make mental mistakes and sometimes the ball has to bounce our way. That’s just being real.

Ha! Bama probably has 60 5* players on the sidelines and we expect to beat them every year.

Updated Rosters 2020 for all SEC with players rated a .9200 or above. If you want a different number then the numbers will obviously change but the .9200 in my opinion is SEC starter level ranking. For you that number might be different

** I did not an wont go through each team for players opting out**

East - 113
West - 167

Bama - 54
UGA - 50
LSU - 33
AU - 29
aTm - 29
UF - 23
UTk - 22
USCe - 11
Ark - 9
MSU - 8
Uk - 6
OM - 5
Mizz - 1
Vandy - 0

In the past 8 years AU is 2-6 and USCe is 3-5.

Historically it's 60-56-8 UGA leads AU, 51-19-2 UGA leads USCe. Not sure I'd call for South Carolina as a standard.

I agree on most of these above. I do agree I think Loy is the starter if Bo were to go down. Sandberg will be the backup on paper only probably.

Running back I don't think is settled but I think Caddie is going to go with all 5 guys. There will eventually be "the guy". My guess it's Tank by game 4 but before I don't think it's settled.

I think Foster Allen moves inside. I think Hardy plays DE and DT as well.

I think Boundry corner is up for grabs I don't think Domio has locked down a starter spot.
