Would suspect Robinson becomes part of the 2-deep at some point.
From 247/N King....
JUCO safety addition Laquan Robinson worked all day with DJ Durkin's linebacker room, as he appears to have made that position move. His size lends him more to a hybrid linebacker/safety role on passing downs
Things seem to be close at safety between Caleb Wooden and Sylvester Smith opposite Jerrin Thompson. They interchanged first-team reps often
The most common cornerback in the lineups behind the primary pair was Antonio Kite.
* Sam Jackson V rotated in with the first group plenty, and looks blazing fast.

Wat? Dude is like 200 lbs. this would make sense with Terrance Love. How much weight has he put on?

Jason Caldwell said the same thing. He said to remember he has been catching passes from Thorne since they were in high school together.

I’m glad I played in the early 2000s. They blasted rock music during practice and not whatever that crap is.

Jville, they also live together.
I wasnt referring to their "timing" of working together, you are way down in the weeds. Was referring more to their friendship, you toss to your friends.

I see on that last play Antonio Kite has quickly picked up the standardized classic trait, handed down over the years by Auburn DBs, NEVER look back for the ball

Posted on 8/1/24 at 4:03 pm to GoCrazyAuburn
Here is an NFL corner talking about looking for ball
It all boils down to the route ran, how good the WR is, etc. If you are on a top notch WR, you might not be able to look back and just have to play the man, not the ball. And this boils down to athleticism. A DB coach would rather you not look back if you're just going to get burned doing it. They'd rather you just play the man (his eyes, his hands).
So the way to do it is recruit the biggest, fastest corners possible. Guys who can stay "in phase' with the best WRs. This gives them a better chance to turn their heads around.

I get all that. In the clip from above though, he isn't beat. The ball is actually thrown so late, Coleman has stopped in the endzone. Kite has time to blindly jump, trying to swat at a ball, land, and then try and turn and look for the ball. At some point, if you are in the guy's pocket, turn and look for the ball

I'm excited about this year. Feels like we're going to have a much better team than last year.
Thompson is going to surprise people, even though he was a huge recruit.

Who threw that?

Not sure. May have been a coach or something doing a drill. May have just thrown a lot of air under it.
