Auburn 19 - UGA 17 McPherson's heisman campaign kicks off Saturday. 4/4 all from 40+. Still sub 330 offensive yards and garbage third down numbers on the night but the defense gets a couple turnovers and McPherson's boot keeps cohens boot out of Hugh's arse.

Fans are almost down as Freeze on the sidelines. He looks like he is suffering.

Gus let the O-line become turnstile weak so even with Bo Nix he couldn't win very much. Meanwhile, Nix is lighting up the NFL.

(The infamous “hosing”…I was fortunate/unfortunate enough to witness it live from the student section …it was the only remote silver lining to be had after an absolute bitter, bitter, bullshite loss)

I was also there witnessing it. Those F'ers also damaged our hedges & logo. They also turned the hoses into the stands when they wouldn't leave..

I read some Mark Schlabach sob story about Georgia fans refusing to come back to Auburn after that game.

It brought me joy.

When I read our antagonist Walden or someone say he wished could hose every one of them I was beaming with pride.

It's easier to say frick em than it is to do "frick em" and he did it with big nuts

They were told to stay off the field they didn't. They were warned, they still didn't listen. So they hosed them.

They were in the stands well after the game, they were told to exit the stadium, they didn't. They were warned again and wouldn't leave...so they hosed them...

They then went and whinned about getting hosed. Start of the Karen fans...

I just wish I could've been alive then. The whole story is awesome.

It was a grant time to be alive. People were not as combative and there really was no device to separate everyone.

I think we would have seen a softer Jang. One that was not so bitter and ready to brawl.

We probably would have shared drink then.

It's the devices that's the problem. People would be threatening jobs and calling employers and Senators because people have to be manufactured outraged.

Maybe we were living in delusion - but in general it seemed everyone could claim more upside.

LOL - that season we were 5 points from being undefeated, but really the only games we played were UT, UF, UGA, UA. Everyone was satisfied with the season.

In terms of the hosing, this was no quick trigger. A key variable to note - back then, the alcohol flowed with more freely. A good chunk of the the UGA fans on the field were annihilated. And they started to rip up the turf (at the logo). Only after that were the water cannons turned on - toward the field. Then UGA people in the stands began to throw stuff .

I could not agree more. Its hard to believe how weak we (humans) have become. So easily manipulated.
