Hanks career isn’t over, may just not be ready for Auburn, and his future may not be at Auburn.
Thorne gives us the best chance. The QB of the future isn’t on the roster unless it’s White. Hank has a chance.
How many of our fans calling for Hank today were the same dumbasses calling for nick Marshall’s head in 2014 in favor of Jeremy Johnson?

I am saying Thorne is a loser and should be benched.
I was also a 100% supporter of Nick Marshall and believed the JJ fanatics were idiots.
How does that fit into your convenient paradigm?
Let me clue you in to the KEY difference between the two:
Nick Marshall? WINNER.
Payton Thorne? LOSER.
It couldn't be more clear between the two.

Thorne changed the fourth down play to the zone read instead of the play called for Hunter by Freeze.

To lose before the game is even played?

Every playable QB we have is a loser. No one adds any substantial aspect over Thorne. If you throw WW or HB out there, you’ll just get them hurt or turn them into a head case. Or, most likely, they’d be Worse
What a shocker. Guys who have coached football teams for years are fairly decent at assessing talent.
How does that fit into your convenient paradigm?

Yep, he made a mistake. I wish we had Cam Ward, too brother

Would definitely be an upgrade. But the trade off for him is like 7 4*s next year.

So the 4th and 1 play was called dive left to Hunter. There was a huge hole on the left side, and the MSU reject decided to pull the ball and run backwards. And some people on here thinks that dumb shite is Auburn’s best chance to win games.

The paradigm that says that "Insanity is continuing to do the same (losing) things over and over and expecting different results" is YOUR paradigm not mine. And you seem to be fully on board with it.

Agree. Glad we didn’t pull a Florida state and pay that loser from Clemson to start.

You’re right, Venmo me and I’ll text Freeze your thoughts. Maybe we make a run with Hank! The freshman on pace to throw 6 INT per game.

There was a linebacker ready to hammer the RB as soon as handed it off. I am not impressed with Freeze lighting into him. From the outside looking in it looks like he is throwing his QB under the bus again.
What was also not impressive was the 4th and 1 play call Hugh...

Gosh, you’re right! We might lose if that happened!
KINDA LIKE WHAT IS EXACTLY HAPPENING NOW!

According to jang, it's imperative that we lose every game with Thorne this season
But you did. I think Thorne is the best to chance to win and this is what you put in my mouth?

Hugh is not above criticism.
That was a bad coaching decision.

Jang I had the exact same thought on the play call, and again after watching Clark Lea’s short yardage 3rd down play calls against Bama.
And the optics are bad. I’m all for freeze, but he has to realize the public perception about him throwing players under the bus. Lightinf into Thorne on national TV and doubling down at press conferences does NOT help recruiting, which is the only thing he is really doing well at the moment.

I think the pre-snap adjustment Thorne made may have had something to do with that tbh. He went and made an adjustment with the RT and RG pre-snap. He pointed to that man and said something to them and they both pointed to him. No idea if the original play he would have been left to crash like that. Hard to say.
I agree though, Hugh will say he is just being honest with what happened on the play, but at this point that doesn’t do anybody any good. You’re 2-4. Nobody needs to hear that.

Not to the left, which is where the play was called to…
