I think the shorter game with fewer possessions and the fact that we are going to rely heavily on the run game week 1 feels like we will not cover. 41-14

Shorter game. Opponent has already played a game. Lots of new faces.

45 - 10

We have to figure out what kind of team we have. We know at this point we can run, we dont know about the passing game, or the personnel. Expect a lot of passing.

And when they do take Thorne out, expect Ashford to pass a lot, we already know he can run.

For that reason we will score a lot.

On the flip side, we will be moving a lot of players in and out on defense so I would expect we will get scored upon a couple of times.

Still say we cover.

It the highest "sold" attendance ever for a game at JH, and the highest number of season ticket holders, Freeze will want a show in his debut.

UMass' defense is very real and their offense is better. We won't cover a 39.5 line but it looks like it's gone down to 35ish. That's a more realistic line but we probably still won't cover it.

Brother Hugh will want to play a lot of guys and probably won't care about covering.

We’re paying them $1.95 million so it better be a blowout

I remember when we beat Cinci 60-0. Many people left but we were there cheering on the walk ons trying to score.
