Watch the replay, Newton about 5 yards downfield, Schenker 10 yards downfield, and M Johnson at the goal line, what a beautifully executed play.
That is coaching and some players engaged in a team concept.

This play exactly is what showed me Auburn is about to be a different ball club.

I am stoked about Harsin. However, I said this preseason. We can suck and still crush PSU. They are terrible.

I agree, its not playing the big boys.
But we knew with what we knew about Harsin and Bobo, that these type plays are the ones we were hoping for that was missing over the last many years.
And I am sure the playbook didn't even get wrinkled from the many more plays they have available in the passing game...

I realize we were not playing Georgia or Alabama. The point is not whether the play worked ITS THAT WE ACTUALLY EXECUTED blocking by receivers downfield.

There was a play last year when the defense had an all out blitz, as soon as the ball is snapped Bo is running for his life to the left side of the field and Seth is just standing there, turned around watching Bo....as the defender who is was supposed to guard Seth runs around him and tackles Bo. Bo gets up and looks at Seth in disbelief as if to say, ya could of at least farted on the guy when he ran by you.
