Maybe bad in highschool

I meant that the football, in general, was very bad. Boobie was the offense. Every play started with a snap and ended with Boobie running all over the field for his life

He was pretty meh talent wise. Not bad not great. I remember those highlight tapes. Unfortunately he seemed more electric then than at Auburn. I think his best ball game was probably Purdue.

I like Jarquez Hunter a lot. I’m not sure that I believe it, still. But it’s obvious the kid is putting the work in and that may be more about effort than anything given the lean RB room.

Boobie bolted from Westen Illinois and entered the transfer portal. Geez. Was he really that bad?

I never understood why W. Ill was the best he could find? They are terrible, 1-11 in 2019 and 1-6 in Covid year.

I would have thought at least one of the state schools would have been a good place for him to try to excel. He seemed good enough for them. Like Roc, etc...who did pretty well. He has power and strength.

I can see where he might be 2b.

I think Harsin believes in leadership a lot, and Shiver being the SR would be that RB leader, so I can't see him being moved out of that 2 slot.

Now as the season progresses, and if Hunter shows he is more versatile and is successful on the field, then he could be the go to guy behind Tank..
