Everyone seems to be under the impression he got a raise at FSU.
Everything from him wanting to stay a QB coach, FSU counteroffering and AU not matching it, Rich McGlynn being all Rich McGlynn like have been thrown out for reasons why he didn't take it. Who knows what the truth is?

Well the other rumor is he wanted to keep troop but was told to get rid of him. Either way both are likely bullshite so lets not put the guy on a pedestal for propaganda one way or the other. I'm more concerned with his record this time next year than who he may have or may not have told to go kick rocks.

My understanding is he did get a raise. He is also unusually close to Jimbo.

After the FSU trustees finally kick Jimbo to the side sooner rather than later, I guess DC will enjoy his job as QB coach under Jimbo at Louisiana Monroe or some similar level school.
