Everyone is perfectly fine with a 5th string QB running plays in the first quarter of the spring game?
Sure it's a spring game. But it's national television and shows us why we get a twirling idiot out of the backfield in a reg or bowl game.

We only had 4 QBs and nothing to suggest there is a noticeable gap between Cord and other 3 from news reports

Personally, I'm hoping Sandberg gets the backup gig. Would prefer to give Nix a RS season if Gatewood can handle being #1.
Willis has a bright future at UNA or Jax State.

If no one else was frustrated then I am confused. Why in the ever loving frick was this kid even playing? Is this a preview for the upcoming season?

I agree in RSing Nix, but bc he came out in the spring, I think he wants no part of being Redshirted.
I just hate that both Gatewood and Nix will improve as they go along, but as Freshmen, there is room for only 1 starter.

Gus said he was gonna let all 4 play it out during the spring. I have no qualms with him doing that for the duration of the spring. If we start fall camp with all 4 still battling then I will share your frustrations.
I'm expecting Bo and Joey to spend a ton of time with our wideouts this summer and whomever gets more familiar wins the starting job.
