They do and from living in Colorado there’s a ton of Texans and it’s surprisingly close to the western side of the state

I’ll be on board with Freeze if he gets Luke, Longo and a good DC.

Still seems like a tall task to me

Article making the rounds say McGriff coming back to coach CB's. That would leave just the DC for that side of the ball unhired

Maybe it’s just me, but wouldn’t you want your DC to help pick the coaches on the defensive side? Order kind of seems off unless he is know but just not announced

Last I heard is Luke is happy in retirement. He resigned from UGA last Feb. However, he is only 46 so maybe there's some hope he will get back into it.

Longo is an air-raid guy and Mike Leach disciple. Does he fit in with Freeze?

You probably missed it because all of the salmon/IHOP bullshite

But apparently Luke has had two separate convos with Freeze about a coaching spot. Longo was Luke’s OC at OM.

I wonder why he resigned from UGA. He gave the "more time with family" excuse which could mean he just wasn't happy there. Maybe he is tired of OL and wants a promotion.

I wonder if Longo was a coach that reached out. I could see him wanting to get back in the SEC. I just don't know if I'm crazy about the air-raid. However, I read that Longo likes to run the ball more than Leach, so maybe it would work.

Longo is an offensive innovator. Freeze hired him at Ole Miss from Sam Houston State, where they rewrote all the record books. He’s doing wonders at UNC this season. If Freeze is serious about relinquishing playcalling duties, this is the guy.

Freeze hired him before. Just was let go before coaching with him.

He might’ve just needed a break.

A year off is a long time

It sounds like Freeze is trying to pry Luke out of retirement.

Hokanson shared that most of the analysts snd personnel have been let go.

quote:

I'm told the majority of the analysts and personnel people were let go over the last two days.

From this list of analysts and personnel, people, I'm told Sam Beckenstein, Steven Ruzic and Aaron Pittard are hanging tough and remain on staff.
