Mike Elko is terrible
1) Anyone with a winning record at Duke is never “terrible.”
2) Helped reel in phenomenal defensive recruiting classes and was a great DC @ Texas A&M
3) Ivy League educated
I wouldn’t say these are “terrible” traits.

Well it is Lanning that was offered.
That is strange and lot more money than just 10 million a year just because he was once Kirby’s DC. That can backfire.

Quick question for everyone. Is anyone here paying any of the salary for the new coach?

Who has a 10 year contract?
James Franklin, Dabo Swinney, Mel Tucker (!), Brian Kelly, AND the very guy whose salary you were just defending, Jimbo Fisher

I get why Jimbo got the contract he has
You'd be the only one. Auburn bout to hand Jimbo his sixth loss... in a row

No. But, it would be incredibly underwhelming.

Kirby has told MANY people that Lanning was his best recruiter

But can he coach/run a program consistently …that’s a bit tbd

I'm just going by what CBS reported.
Well then do the math. In your article what is 93.6 divided by 8?

News flash... any splash hire is going to require at least 9 mill to come here.
Side note someone asked Lanning and he said "The grass isn't always greener on the other side and its really green in Oregon and he wants to stay in Eugene as long as they'll have him"
Yes I know coaches always deny contract talks buts that's a lot of words when he could have just said "not interested" or " i haven't been contacted" so I don't think it's him.
Sounds like it was Kiffin to me.

quote:Bashes? $100 Million over 10 fricking years???!!! Only an idiot would agree to those terms. Saban and Kirby don't have that deal! Hell yes I'd bash anybody who expects that, and doesn't have a resume to back it up. But then again, you and Jang probably would give that to "Coach Prime". Tards of a feather......
His credibility vanished weeks ago. Bashes every candidate but offers none. Anyone saying BOB now needs to see a doctor

They are going for Mike Elko if Lanning doesn’t accept.
Wrong. Is that you Ron Sanders?

That Ivy League diploma will look good on the top of a box of shite he packs in 3 years when he gets canned

Oregon beat writer wrote last night Auburn fans should bet their life against Lanning coming to Auburn, maybe Dillingham”
They’re scared as they should be. Auburn minus greygoose is on the prowl.

We've moved on from Deion. You're good with numbers, how many chromosomes do you have?

**Reluctantly** moved on

Why have we reluctantly moved on?
