Similar. Had an original account in 2010-11. Stopped posting for a bit, came back and had forgotten the password and no longer had access to the student email I had registered that username with.

I am not guiding right now. Just running my tackle business. I am working on my captains license right now but its going to take a while. I have some plans to get back to doing some trips by late next spring or early summer.

never did career create any alters over it, but I think my longest was maybe 2 months. Unless you count self bans, I stopped posting for an entire football season one year after losing a ban bet But my original account had the exact same registration date as you, TTs, I just checked. I believe it was signing day 2010, or the day after. I had followed recruiting lightly pretty much since rivals became a thing, but that 2010 class where we almost signed all 3 of the top RBs and a stud 5* JUCO QB named Cameron Newton is what first got me into it enough to want to seek out strangers online to discuss it with. Found auburneagle.com, or whatever it was called at the time, and it was immediately apparent site had a very “there is no war in Ba Sing Se” attitude about things. Saw mention of “The notorious tigerdroppings.com” and saw warnings to be careful on that site since they allowed unspeakable things such as cussing, negativity, and back taking their non-insider admins. So I came over here, and got told that Kheil Frazier was an LSU lock and Cam Newton was Brent Schaefer 2.0 bc JUCO QBs NEVER work out in the SEC

I've never had an alter, but I had an account earlier than this one, but never really posted much. Kinda forgot about the Rant, found my way back and couldn't remember the password and had no access to the email.
Never had the need for an alter, and certainly not dedicated enough to manage another meaningless internet persona.

Believe it or not, there was a time when TTs was the premier Auburn shite-stirrer on this site. TTs was damn good at pushing the buttons, but he chilled out considerably years ago. I know he still has it in him though, he still shows flashes of his button pushing brilliance too.
And this might be harder to believe , but I definitely haven’t been banned a full 10 separate times. More like 5. And most of those were petty bans by butthurt minor admins, there was probably 2 that were deserved. I’m good at pushing the line without stepping over it

I was on Eagle (I forget the site’s full name now) and heard the same stuff. I came over and saw a recruit’s mom on The Rant talking shite and then all the other irreverent posts and felt I was home.

It is a skill learning how to not step completely over it. I got good at it at AUF. They eventually banned me over a post made a month prior in the middle of my sleep.
I am basically a dog with an electronic fence- feedback collar. I will bolt toward that invisible fence, giving the owner a brief period of anxiety that I am about to call the collar's bluff and then I'll stop on a dime at the very end of the line where the collar is going off. And then I will walk parallel to the fence just so he knows I am plotting my escape from the cantankerous bastard. Lastly, when he gets tired of looking at me I will let him come get me, and then I'll start yelping and screaming as if the man is hurting me so that I can embarrass him in front of his neighbors.
