Kessler probably spends more time outside of the arc as any big guy in the country.
Drives me crazy to see that. Such a weapon as a post up player, and he's shooting 25 footers.

Some have said, Bruce's letting his players have freedom, is why he gets good players. I get that, but damn, a coach has to be the guy who sees what is, and what's not working and reign that shite in when things start going south. Doesn't matter if you have the best 5 players in the country, if they all are playing like individuals, and not a team. For the life of me, I just don't understand why we aren't leaning more on our strengths. Instead, a lot of the time we have no semblance of any plan, just an individual who decides he's going to take a shot, regardless of how we are being defended.

Kessler is probably staying out there to try and create space in the lane for our guards but they still can't get in.

Kessler is not a good offensive player with his back to the basket so it's not like he is dangerous down there if our guards can't penetrate.

I thought we actually took some good shots yesterday and just weren’t making much. Missed a bunch of bunnies around the rim and some relatively open looks from three.

We need rebounds in whatever way we can get them. If having both on the court together achieves that goal, then I'm all for it.

I apologize OP, after what I watched again yesterday offensively I'm willing to give this a try.

Yesterday was one of like 2 or 3 times all year we have had trouble rebounding. Not worried about it

I don’t reckon I’m worried about rebounding. More concerned that we cannot close out games without God awful sequences of play that can quicklylet the other teams back into the games. Also concerned that one of our biggest strengths being depth is no longer a strength at all. Jabari and KD played 35+ minutes. The rest of the starters played 28+. We desperately need players to get out of their individual funks.

I agree. This was saving our poor shot selection and turnovers earlier in the year. Teams often just wore down late. In conference play, especially on the road we haven't been able to take advantage of our numbers strength.
