One game at a time. Improve every week.

BUT, if we beat TAMU, it would be a shock to the college football world.

if we can't slow down Evans were screwed.
Our fortunes on D will rest heavily here. Hopefully he will still be a bit dinged up. Our DBs are not all world yet but Evans is the only WR on their roster that concerns me.

I've never seen Manziel have a bad game or a defense "stop" him

I don't expect to stop him but if we can slow him down in the red zone we will have a shot.

We don't have a UF defense, and last years LSU D was much better than this years LSU D. Our defense is making good improvements, and the DL is starting to really come alive. It will take a mistake free game and some big stops from our D to give AU a chance. It is in the realm of possibility for AU to win, but we need to play well in all facets on offense. If our passing game can be more consistent and dangerous, we have a good chance against that horrible aTm D.

Haven't really watched aTm that much this year, but I remember last year their kicker was pretty shitty. Anyone know if he has improved?? If we can continue to hold teams in the red zone, their kicker, or hopefully lack thereof, could become a factor

Idk bout their kicker cause I rarely see the to for a field goal lol.

If Lawson is skipping that day we will win. I wish our entire defense would skip in sync together after every play

TAMU would be one of those games it would be nice to have Therezie and Garrett in at the same time

I still dont get the hype with Garrett. Hes been hurt most of the season so far. He hasn't done much.

The hype was based on pre season reports. Any desire to see Garrett is all based on hope that he is in fact as good as advertised nothing more. However, being injured he isn't of any help to the defense now. Someone mentioned in one of the threads he may be looking to get a medical RS for this season.

All we can really do is hope McKinzy is ready, and Swain follows up on his Ole Miss performance with more of the same.

The fact that he was starting over Therezie should be a testament ot his ability. He played well in his games back so far after moving to WLB, which is not what he prepared for all spring and fall

The proof is in the A-Day pudding. You don't just go out and put on a defensive clinic in front of 87,451 people without having major talent like Garrett did.

Yea I know it was preseason hype. But I personally don't give hype until they produce on the field.

Most people don't notice the players on the sidelines that are injured. Bet you having noticed Jeffrey Whitaker during the games either

Dude Garrett has barely played. What exactly has he done on the field besides Aday/practice? I know he's hurt. I just wait until they actually produce on the field before knighting them. No knock against the guy, just how I see it.

I was just saying it would be nice to have a quicker guy out there like Garrett instead of Jake Holland trying to spy / tackle JFF.

That makes sense. Totally agree there. Holland makes me cringe. Too slow.

Whoever said it would be nice to have Therezie and Garrett on the field together for this one is on to something IMO. It would be nice to have 1 of them be the JFF spy.
