Can't remember what # LSU does but they have one or two like that.

LSU has done that with the #7 (Peterson, Honey Badger, forget who else).

Ole Miss did (maybe still does) with Chucky Mullins #38.

I think LSU does #18.

He was a fullback.

Can’t recall name.

Hester, I had to look.

So glad they’re retiring #2, Cam is legend.

It’s not like we retire many, this will only be the fourth number retired in our history. #2, #7, #34, #88.

Not a fan of retiring numbers.

Me either. I always wore 7 in sports and I've never gotten to witness anyone wear my favorite number at Auburn.

Single digit numbers just look good on jerseys and players are gonna want them. Now we only have 8 (16 i guess since they double numbers for offense and defense) to issue. Imagine Deuce Knight transferring and it coming out that it was because he couldn't wear #2. That's crazy, but it would not surprise me at all with kids these days.

I would rather retire the jersey.

I know Auburn, and lots of other teams, have a "ring of honor", so why not just do that? Have the ring of honor mean the same thing as having the number retired.

Soo...since off season and on topic should Bo Nix have a retired jersey/number or No? He did push the line in the boot let some tell it even though we had the best dang near d-line/fense in the country that year.
