Wouldn't hate it - if he totally revamps his staff (as could be done with AU's money).

The guy seems accountable and gets his hands dirty.

If we strike out on others - he is low risk potential high ceiling. Would be very familiar with local transfer portal.

Prime would instantly make Auburn the biggest draw in the college football and would bring in talent equal to or better than bama-uga

I'm all for giving Prime a shot but might want to pump the brakes a little there.

Now Kiffin is stuck at a school where he has burned A LOT of bridges with some very important people and half the fan base hates him after he drug them for two weeks only to lose the Egg Bowl.
And they also get to pay him nearly $2M more to boot

Auburn fans are really fricking picky for a team that has won 17 games in 3 years.

That’s the reason to be picky. Paid mediocre Gus a lot of money to leave. Paid disaster Harsin to leave. Neither of them recruited worth a damn. Can’t have that happen again. Cohen should be pulling a Mal Moore right now and setting up camp in Urban’s front lawn. Or get someone that is a gamble, but you know will immediately turn recruiting around, Prime.

Carnell could sell Auburn better, also look into Deions Prime Prep Academy….
shut down by Texas due to lack of oversight amongs other reasons,

quote:

Sanders' passion for his school is evident, but the serious allegations leveled by the Texas Education Agency offers a tall task ahead for Prime Prep Academy to avoid closure. A lack of oversight and accountability has evidently backed the school into a tough corner. Fox 4 reports that Price, who's relatively new on the superintendent job, isn't charged with any of the school's shortcomings.

He’s turned FSU around, no way he wants to leave that.

They don't hate him anymore, they thought he was gone and were pre melting. Now they love that he put egg on our face and is staying at Ole Miss.

I'm amazed that people think Deion is going to just walk in and out-recruit and out-coach Saban and Smart.

I'd bet that most high school players have no idea who Neon Deion even is.

Prime wouldn't unify us. Most of us realize there'd be a high likelihood we'll be in this same boat in 2-3 years

But with a loaded roster of talent . I’ll take it. After all that has happened even the Prime hater’s would say ok, let’s ride. He is completely worth the risk!

I guess if there’s an Amish recruit out there that doesn’t own a tv.

What do you base this belief on? You think he is going to out recruit Kirby and Saban?

He has already out recruited them in some sense - Travis Hunter. He can go toe to toe with them there. If he got some good coordinators he would be fine. Just a matter if he could manage the other things that come with big school coaching.

I was referring to people saying no to Franklin like there’s options out there that are clearly better. Yall act like Auburn has been relevant on the national scene in the last 5 years. Auburn needs a good proven head coach who will recruit his arse off, sorry Auburn shouldn’t be the place where position coaches (Brian Johnson) get their shot as a HC.

Not sure I agree. The Sunday/Monday two weeks ago, everyone started saying the same thing (lane done to Auburn). That is about as clear as a signal as you'll get in any search.
