I'm gonna ask this question again:

How confident are you that Kiffin comes to the plains after these few days

I have no idea... and nobody else but bama insiders do either
I'd like to see Kiffin get it but I'm not betting Steak Tacos on it.

I choose to not believe PAM here…. He would nearly be backing himself into a corner of Freeze being top backup and doubt he wants that

PAM has lost his mojo... sometimes he has some nice stories but I don't think he has any inside info.

Again, Kiffin has been at OM for 3 years. He knows the lay of the land there. He has complained this year about fan support and the AD being tight with cash for assistants. Throw in that tirade after the Bama game about not winning big games at OM. If he wants to win he has to take the AU job, If he stays at OM for the same money then he didn’t mean any of it and I don’t want him.

he's off to Ohio State

Poke I understand your sentiment, but as many have reminded me over the past couple of weeks - coaches don’t leave auburn for “higher” jobs. They leave because they don’t perform and end up getting fired, or retire. Maybe Fickell would be an exception. I also don’t see Day leaving anytime soon - he’s only 43 and I don’t assume he wants to go to the NFL. OSU is a well oiled machine and he seems to be doing perfectly fine there.

PAM has been around Auburn for decades. He probably doesn’t have great insight with the new staff or inside the locker room but when it comes to the old men with money that make Auburn barn PAM is the only source I trust.

You do you bro but but the last few years has proven PAM is not "in the know" with anything current. As far as I'm concerned we have some guys that right great stories but we don't have ANY insiders.

I can’t believe OM is gonna offer him a new deal if we haven’t offered.

I'm sure numbers have been shared between Sexton and Cohen, but no official offer has been given.

Hell, even we had extended a formal offer, it is not getting reported right now. After iron bowl maybe, but no way either party would agree to announcing such things at this juncture in the season.

PAMs in the know-ness began to evaporate when Leath got hired (really before then when he stopped showing up to press conferences), and then basically dried out once Pat Dye passed away, and Gouge left again.
