Cohen and Rane aren’t sitting in a back room calculating how to make the public think they are going after Lane, while really they are pursing Dabo or whoever is the real target.

You sure? And like I said in another post, could be smokescreen from Sexton to get everyone looking one way, and improving that coaches position, while working on another client.

I keep seeing that I don’t know anything and have no way of knowing anything and it’s message board fodder. True, but so is all the Lane smoke. You don’t know anything either. Well, except muh Fat T.

It looks like every big name coach is throwing their name in the ring to use it as leverage for a bigger contract at their school. No reason they'd actually leave.

I haven’t read it but I’ll bet it’s like “something could happen but also something couldn’t happen. Kiffin is the target and he could come or he could stay”

Hoke used about 3,000 words to say nothing.

Which is typical for him.

Dabo is averaging 11 wins a season, 1 BCS title appearance, 6 playoff appearances, 4 title appearances, and two national titles.

In the ACC.

If he did that in the SEC, it'd be better but the ACC isn't that impressive

Over a 14-year span? That is impressive anywhere.

This is why I posted my skepticism of Hoke’s info after I posted Hoke’s info

These guys walk their info backwards and all around like crazy. In this case, he originally mostly said nothing and after nothing’s happened, we’ve still got nothing.

A coach that is in the SEC and averages 11 wins probably isn’t a coach that’s for hire

Conference realignment perspective could make things weird, but yeah I agree he ain’t going anywhere. Clemson would be foolish to let him walk.

That’s just silly

That is a great resume and he deserves credit despite his goofiness. He had a plan and as an interim made that program very relevant. Not saying that means we take him but damn silly to call that unimpressive.
