Lashlee is as bad as dillingham…. Demand higher standards for the AU program or go sit in the corner.. it’s a loser mentality

I have to believe that AU is already in talks with an agent and have it locked in on someone.
I think the pick will come from the names we heard:
Freeze, Kiffin, or Grimes.
I think Prime would make a huge splash, just not sure if AU would take that chance.
I truly believe Freeze and Kiffin are 1a, 1b and then Grimes would be a fall back plan. After the Harsin debacle, you’d think they would have all their ducks in a row to get “their man” because they can’t keep buying out a coach.
That’s just my take and I’m just a redneck from Mobile, so what the hell do I know?

I like Chadwell’s offensive system (Spread Option). He also has connections to high schools in Alabama and Georgia. He has landed guys from Hoover and Auburn HS. He’s one of my top choices but I understand it’s not shared by others.
Kiffin is #1 to me.

Jeff Lebby- I just do not see it.
Jamey Chadwell - I’m a South Alabama fan as well, so I’ve gotten a chance to watch this team. They’re well coached. I wouldn’t mind this.

I don't think that anyone "wants" Mullen but we have to realize it could come down to Mullen or Diaz vs Grimes or Lashlee. In that case give me Merlins or Diaz

my beef with merlin is his lack of recruiting, which is what we've been complaining about for this current guy. definitely can coach up an offense, we know that, but you gotta be much more than a good coordinator to be a good head coach.

The way the players are leaving we are in desperate need of an outstanding recruiter. It may come back to bite us but we needed Deion Sanders yesterday. If the next coach can't be an outstanding recruiter with high school kids and the transfer portal we're going to be in BIG trouble for the foreseeable future. I just don't see another guy out there that can recruit at least close to Alabama or Georgia unless you go Rodney Garner or Dell McGee.

If we have learned anything from our basketball team - we need a coach that:
Has a big heart and a big personality.
One that can sell Auburn every day of every week.
A guy that connects with everyone he meets.
Think guys like Charles Barkley, Cam Newton, and Bruce Pearl.
Not guys like Bo Jackson and Pat Sullivan. (No disrespect to either guy because I dearly love them both)
We need a guy who attracts attention and even demands attention. We need a showman for recruiting and coverage.
Not a milk toast middle aged white guy who says the right words in an interview.
Who (on your list) fits the showman criteria?
Has a big heart and a big personality.
One that can sell Auburn every day of every week.

I've said it a hundred times. Deion. What's the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? So, to hire anyone but Deion is what? Insane?
