He won’t finish the season as the starter. He crumbled under pressure in the sec and against Washington (the only d he played in the pac whatever).

NFL preseason is not real life.

He was 33-44 for 337, 2 TDs, no turnovers, and only one sack against Washington. That's the kind of crumble we want. Like the layer of crumble on top of Apple Pie.

0-3 vs Washington. PAC10 defense is trash. Nix was a solid qb but this nfl hype is not logically based on what we all watched throughout his career. He can’t dink and dunk and improvise in the nfl.

Beat Alabama as a true freshman, won in Baton Rouge while being coached by harsin and the Washington stuff is silly he balled out in those games. You were wrong, it's okay

Well the claim that he crumbled under pressure for one. Everything else you said was speculative but based on your comments I'm sure you were one of the ones thinking he was the problem when he was here

Speculation……hello pot I’m kettle.

Nix was the least of our problems. He played great at times. But to ignore his inability to handle any pressure and bail is revisionist. It was easy to forget watching him throw 6 yard passes for two years at Oregon and rack up wins. He did insanely stupid shite as qb at Auburn when his oline let him down. Maybe he’s learned from it. But the nfl preseason is isnt real life. We’ll see.

Dude give it up. He was a top 10 pick and now the starting QB in the NFL. People are paid millions upon millions to make those decisions. Yes they get it wrong some but Bo is everything you want in a franchise QB. Accurate, athletic, smart, and a gamer.

As long as he stays healthy he’s a 10+ year starter

It doesn't even matter what kind of NFL career he has, they're just moving the goalposts now. He was one of the more productive quarterbacks of the last several years and a high first round pick in the NFL draft

Got nothing to do with talking about Bo. We can talk about him. It’s the constant negative about Auburn and Auburn folks that gets old.

He can’t?

Quite a stupid thing to say.

A lot of Auburn fans treatment of Bo and the Nix family was and, as evidenced in this thread, still is shameful. If you don't want to be talked about negatively stop being a moron about it. Accept you were wrong, try to learn from it, and move on.

Trying to pretend it never happened doesn't make you more of an Auburn man.

I and many others have been on record saying we were wrong about Bo. Why do folks continue to dwell on it?

Especially the ones that are supposedly no longer invested in college football?
