One of our own.

Les Miles brought him to Kansas and said Wallace is a dynamic recruiter that pays attention to details.

Atleast Jonathan Wallace will know what to expect going through a more than likely shite storm season. He was one of the positive attitude guys from 2012 and has been dealing with Kansas’ shite storm.

His father-in-Law is a big Barner on Twitter.
Maybe someone can DM him that question.

If he really is a stud recruiter, him, trovon , and Zac could be a hell of a trio

AUBURN, Ala.—Auburn football has promoted wide receivers coach Eric Kiesau to offensive coordinator and defensive analyst Roc Bellatoni to edge linebackers coach and special teams coordinator, head coach Bryan Harsin announced Friday. The two have a combined 44 years of coaching experience, including 22 years of serving as coordinators. Harsin also has promoted secondary coach Zac Etheridge to Associate Head Coach.

Boy, oh boy, Auburn is definitely goin' places with Badass Harsin!

I don’t see anything wrong with it. Everyone likes the Napier hire and he brought his guys over from ULL. Easier when you have faith/trust in your guys

Some of us are tired of this because Harsin sucks and will fail. This promotion is another example. His coaching tree isn’t much different than Gus’ (except Gus understood the landscape here). I have no interest in watching the product on the field fail. Those boys deserve better. Our talent levels are low and thin and it will show this season.

And that’s fine. I’m just pointing out that other people bring in coaches that they trust. I don’t see that as a bad thing.

Some of the other team management issues are certainly a red flag. Seem to be some changes in the recruiting strategy this year, but as of now that is a bad look too. The portal usage also hasn’t filled the gaps on this team. There are definite problems, I just don’t think the Kiseau and Bellantoni promotions are the biggest ones.

I could obviously be wrong but it all seems to me like the administration and booster side is in cost cutting mode. They kicked the can down the road to allow the new President and his hires to make the next hire. I personally don't disagree with the decision. The candidate pool will be a lot deeper with the structural changes from new leadership being aligned. It is what it is. I'll still be a fan and hope like hell Harsin is successful but I'm not overly optimistic about the next few seasons.

I said back in 2012 that Jonathan Wallace would be a coach someday. I remember someone replied to my post and laughed. (Don't remember if it was here or another forum). I could see it even when he was playing that he was 1) very smart 2) a leader and 3) he never gave up and played hard even in that shitshow of a season. No, he wasn't a great player, but I just knew coaching was in his future.

Anyway, if he's Harsin's choice, I am behind it.

Had a class with him. I would have agreed with you. He's very intelligent and has a lot of poise. You can just tell he's a leader.

Comparing Harsin’s hires to Napier’s is laughable.

Go look at those guy’s resumes that Napier hired and get back to me….you have coaches with experience at Bama, UGA, LSU, the NFL, etc.
