He should feel comfortable in Oakland.

Like Malzahn, Gruden can't score TDs and will be relying on long FGs

In their early mock drafts, both Walter at WalterFootball.com (LINK) and his sidekick Charlie Campbell (LINK) have Derrick Brown going #6 overall in the 2019 NFL Draft to the Atlanta Falcons.

I’m sure he’d like that.

Campbell also has Jamal Dean in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft, whereas Walter has Dean in the 1st round of the 2020 draft.

NFL.com's Bucky Brooks and Daniel Jeremiah have Brown as their 16th-ranked NFL prospect.

https://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000977769/article/rankings-30-top-25-prospects-in-2018-college-football-season

quote:

Derrick Brown, DT
School: Auburn | Year: Junior

You would be hard-pressed to find another defensive tackle with Brown's combination of size, strength and quickness. The 6-foot-5, 325-pound (school measurements) defender moves like a tight end, but flashes the power and explosiveness typically associated with All-Pro interior defensive linemen. If Brown continues to wreck shop on the inside, he could see his stock soar in NFL circles. -- BB

I was watching the Panthers game. The TD that Cam scored with the fake to MccEverything, when he got to the sideline you saw him holding his tablet talking how he faked them out. They were lip reading him and laughing.

He was having a ball.

Not sure. But he picked the right time to play his best. He may get a long term deal, and if he doesn’t, he will get a one year 16 million dollar deal. I hope he stays healthy if so.

Pretty sure Cam has won an NFC offensive PotW and Kerryon has won NFC Rookie of the week this season too.

Carlson also had a decent day for the Raiders.. 4/4 on XP's and didn't try any FG's. Braden Smith seems to be the starter for the Colts at RT now after back to back starts.

Carlton Davis gonna be on the highlight reels this week and not for a good thing.

Went low and whiffed on Christian McCaffrey and CMC hurdled him.

Cody Parkey missed two PATs and two FGs. ALL clanked off the upright.
Kerryon had both a receiving TD and a rushing TD, but also a lost fumble on the wrong side of the field.
Casanova Mckinzey was called up this week by the Redskins and had a nice sack, but an irrelevant defensive holding call negated it.

Greg Robinson started his second straight game at LT for the Browns and didn't give up a sack in either one

O-line watch

Veteran Greg Robinson received praise from coaches and teammates for the second week in a row, a sign he won't relinquish the starting left tackle job to undrafted rookie Desmond Harrison, who had been struggling in pass protection during the first half of the season and was inactive the past two games with an illness.

Williams stopped short of committing to Robinson as the starter moving forward, but any other outcome would be shocking.

"I thought he played well, and I'm saying this not to blow smoke or whatever, but we'll continue to evaluate [the starting left tackle job] day by day and continue to evaluate that practice by practice," Williams said. "I thought he played well in his first start. I thought he played well yesterday. He had a couple of things in penalties and a couple of technique things, but I thought he played well."
