Cutting Legatron sure seemed to fix the Viking's problems!

Kerryon Johnson is at 101 rushing yards with 3 minutes left. As long he doesn’t get pushed back, he’s the first Detroit back over 100 since 2013. A total of 70 games.

BTW) 101 held up as the Lions were probably cautious about entering KJ back into game.
But yeah crazy. Patricia drafted a good run blocking OL from Arkansas (and Kerryon), and is holding onto 4 RBs, so he’s apparently wanting to pick up the running game and not continue chunking the ball over 40 times a game.

Wonder why he never played at AU. Seems to be doing ok in the NFL

He transferred out with the coaching change before the 2013 season and we signed Carl Lawson and Elijah Daniel in that class. Maybe he thought the new coaches would play their new highly ranked young guys over the old guys lowly ranked hybrid player

I don’t count Blake Countess as an Auburn product, he still fancies himself as a Michigan man.

FWIW, legarrett blount technically started for the lions.
I don’t get it either.

Oh word. KJ was the story anyhow

The more KJ plays, the more opportunities he gets. Week 1 he got less opportunities than Theo Riddick as well. His carries have gone from 5 to 8 to 16 so far.
He should be tbe bonafide starter going forward and Blount the change of pace back imo and that will probably happen soon.

So far no commentary on Peyton Barber’s story of leaving Auburn to support his homeless mom. That’s got to be a record. There is plenty to talk about tonight though. Roughing the passer, Leveon, Fitzmagic, etc..

I remember being skeptical of Barber leaving but he absolutely made the correct choice

Me too. Barber fell into the perfect storm.
